The Mobil Museum - Cross of May evolved through conversations with the community to recover a religious holiday and the traditions associated with its celebration. It took place on May 25, 2019 and was part of the program Integration Process Caracas. The day began with a procession of the La Palomera that began in the Bolívar Square in Baruta, where the 3.4 x 3.0-meter model was assembled. Then a procession led by the musical group “Tambor y Gloria” proceeded through La Palomera, to the La Cruz sector. Volunteers carried the portions of the model up the ascent and reassembled them at the top of the barrio. The day was also filled with the work produced through artist workshops with the community, that resulted from the call for projects titled “Art and community, proposals for integration.” These included dance performances, exhibitions and videos.

Another component of the celebration rescued from previous edition was the organization of games and competitions among the children of the community. Videos were presented with testimonies from the community, a record of the IPC program and fragments of novels and movies filmed in La Palomera. The Manifesto to the Complete City was once again read in front of the whole community, followed by a sancocho (Venezuelan stew) that was shared among all.
